The Penguin Masters Speak
Bugg's Take
My first post of 2006.
It's late.
Already the 13th. It's a Friday. *gasp*
What happened to the first 12 days of the new year?
It's absolutely flown by. Busy with training and getting settled into the Betelbox.
But I digress.
The first Basement post of 2006 will be dedicated to.... yup, you guessed it... the question of 2005.
"How in the heck do penguins get up after falling over???"
Ben was so kind to email this question to penguin gurus Pete & Barbara.
And here is their answer:
Hi Benjamin
Thanks for the email and question.
Penguins use their flippers (wings) and beaks to help themselves get up – they have no difficulty at all in doing so.
Best wishes
Peter and BarbaraOK, so I promise to let this matter rest in peace from now on. Thanks Ben for helping me dig this answer up.
Just had to get that off my chest.
Here's to a wonderful 2006.
